Filming for the second season of Fallout is still underway, and if Walton Goggins—who plays The Ghoul—is to be believed, we’re in for an incredible ride.
The tough thing about time is that we have to let it do its thing in order to get what we’re eagerly waiting for. As much as many of us wish we could dive right into the new season of Fallout this very moment, the reality is we’ll have to wait until it’s all wrapped up. Unfortunately, it’s not quite finished yet. On the bright side, filming has resumed after being put on hold because of the fires in LA. In an interview with Deadline, Goggins shared a bit about the progress of the shoot, along with his enthusiasm for what’s to come in this next chapter.
“We’re knee-deep in filming right now, been at it since November,” Goggins revealed. “I thought the first season was incredible, and I was quite happy with it. But this one? It’s going to blow you away. What the writers have crafted and the talented team they’ve brought together to tell this story is truly remarkable. I can’t wait for everyone to see it. We’re putting in a lot of work to bring this to life.”
Now, this certainly amps up the anticipation for season 2, but it also makes the wait feel that much longer for those of us who loved the first season. Sadly, unless someone perfects time travel overnight, you’ll have to be patient like everyone else.
The upcoming season boasts some new yet recognizable faces, including the iconic Macaulay Culkin from Home Alone. More recently, it’s been revealed that Kumail Nanjiani, known for Adventure Time and Eternals, is joining the fold too. What will these new additions bring to our heroes’ journey? It’s anyone’s guess at this point! For now, we’ll just have to put our trust in the talented cast and crew, and especially in Goggins’ assurance of what’s to come.
