Creator Commissioners
For each two-week period, a different Creator Commissioner will set the stage with custom challenges, beloved returning modes, and enticing rewards. The first week invites players to tackle Community challenges, determining just how many Apex Packs will be up for grabs the next week.
As soon as week two hits, you’ll need to step up to claim those goodies. You’ll face five distinct challenges to unlock a Legendary weapon skin chosen by the Creator, along with the Apex Packs you fought to unlock in the previous week. Remember, engaging in week one isn’t a free ticket to week two’s prizes—you’ll need to dive into the action again.
Creator Commissioners and their Legendary choices:
- February 25 – March 10, 2025: Ninjayla | Legendary skin: Wingman’s Death Ray
- March 11 – 24, 2025: Oraxe | Legendary skin: Kraber’s The Pioneer
- April 1-14, 2025: Apryze | Legendary skin: Mastiff’s Bone Breaker
- April 15 – 28, 2025: Kaminari Kyupi | Legendary skin: Mastiff’s Tombstick
Arsenals
Introducing an essential addition to Battle Royale: Arsenals. These stations provide easy, reliable access to your favorite weapons and ammo. You’ll find these at predetermined spots across all POIs on every map, though ammo type availability will vary each match.
Each Arsenal also lets you upgrade one weapon, as long as its ammo type matches. This upgrade provides a better attachment and an optic if needed. And when the bins are refreshed, Arsenals reset too, allowing another chance for enhancements—with a significant ammo increase to boot.
Meta Changes
This season brings some serious shake-ups with fresh meta updates you don’t want to delay checking out. We’re tweaking weapon classes to level the playing field with Assault Rifles. Plus, time-to-kill gets a boost, thanks to modifications in weapons and adjustments to Armor, Helmets, and headshot multipliers. In terms of Legends, there’s new perks for the Assault class and some special tweaks for Ash and Ballistic. Regen items have been fine-tuned as well, to maintain your combat chances amid these thrilling changes.
Legend Spotlight Passes
Boost your skills with the new Legend Spotlight Pass. Conquer challenges to strengthen your prowess with an emerging Legend, moving through 20 levels with the ultimate aim of securing a Legendary skin pack. Each season, you can grab one Pass per Legend in the in-game store, including unlocking the Legend if you haven’t already.
Be ready as Takeover kicks off this February 11, 2025.
