Hey there! Konami just announced an upcoming Silent Hill transmission stream scheduled for later this week, where they’ll be giving us a sneak peek at Silent Hill f. This game reminds us that sometimes, you’ve got to ignore conventional capitalization rules.
Recently, we’ve seen some Silent Hill action with highlights like the impressive Silent Hill 2 Remake, born from Konami’s collaboration with Bloober Team. However, it’s been a minute since the last mainline entry, and that’s exactly the gap Silent Hill f is set to fill with its eerie charm.
So, mark your calendars: this Silent Hill transmission is happening on March 13 at 10 PM GMT, which translates to 3 PM PDT and 6 PM ET. We’ll update this post with a link to the livestream as soon as it becomes available, but in the meantime, the official Silent Hill YouTube channel’s the place to watch it.
As for what’s on the menu, Konami mentioned: “This Transmission will uncover SILENT HILL f,” and the game’s director, Al Yang, chimed in with: “Excited to finally be able to share what we’ve been cooking.”
To jog your memory, Silent Hill f was first announced during a Silent Hill transmission back in 2022, alongside the SH2 remake. The developers, Neobards Entertainment, are working on it, and the story is penned by Ryukishi07, known for the When They Cry visual novel series.
Our in-house Silent Hill aficionado, Kelsey, shared that the initial Silent Hill f teaser, which included a creepy flower hat, seemed “rather fascinating and stylised.” Definitely, it’s something to keep on your radar if a good scare is your cup of tea.
