For the first time in the UK, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a game that’s captured the attention of over 46 million players globally since its release in March 2020, is joining forces with SEA LIFE UK to deliver an exciting new live experience. This collaboration invites everyone to explore astonishing marine life while meeting beloved characters from the game.
The adventure sets off at SEA LIFE Manchester on February 8th, 2025. Afterward, the tour will continue to charm visitors at SEA LIFE Birmingham, Brighton, London, and Chessington World of Adventures Resort. Enthusiasts of both SEA LIFE and Animal Crossing won’t want to miss this unique event.
SEA LIFE UK, part of Merlin Entertainments, the world’s largest aquarium network and second-largest leisure group, provides the perfect backdrop for this exciting venture. With diverse themed zones that span from the Atlantic to the tropics, each location is home to thousands of fascinating marine creatures.
Catherine Pritchard, the General Manager at SEA LIFE London Aquarium, couldn’t be more excited about the partnership: “We’re thrilled to offer this exceptional experience across our SEA LIFE locations. Guests will journey alongside Animal Crossing characters, surrounded by our mesmerizing marine life, from Green Sea Turtles to Zebra Sharks, making it a memorable adventure with family or friends.”
Armed with a tour guide, visitors will navigate the ‘Sea Life Islands,’ encounter island characters like Aurora and Octavian, and uncover a variety of sea life. A special fossil dig will trace back the lineage of the marine creatures we adore today, with a quest to find the shipwrecked Gulliver on the island’s shores.
During their adventure, guests can collect character stamps, uncover fascinating facts about SEA LIFE residents, and potentially bump into Tom Nook and Isabelle. After the tour, fans can pick up their favorite Animal Crossing: New Horizons merchandise at the aquarium shop.
