Last week, we somehow missed the arrival of Vs Mystery Tower, the arcade take on the Famicom’s Mystery Tower, landing quietly in the Archives.
It’s been ten years today since I moved into my current place and also got the nod from Neal to start writing for NWR. So, what does this week hold in store? A revamped Chrono Trigger launch? The Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition preload—though that’s not until Thursday. Maybe an MLB 2025 release with the Toronto Blue Jays mimicking the grandeur of the 1927 Yankees—although, frustratingly, that’s slated for Friday and, no, the Jays aren’t performing like legends in there. So, what’s actually dropping this week?
Frankly, not much that’s caught my eye. There’s a new adventure called On Your Tail but it’s only listed for Europe at the moment, so its release here is up in the air. Japan sees a wave of new comic apps rolling in. Perhaps Fate: Reawakened will strike a chord with anyone still holding out hope for Silksong.
North America
