Dead by Daylight Tome 22 Introduces Fresh Stories, Costumes, and Additional Content

Dead by Daylight fans, get ready to dive into the latest addition to The Archives with Tome 22: Anguish, now available for all players. This seasonal update brings a fresh wave of engaging stories, slick new outfits, and a host of rewards up for grabs in The Rift. As the year progresses, we’re set to see some thrilling additions to various Dead by Daylight collections with a string of new outfits rolling out from the end of January through to late February 2025.

For those new to Dead by Daylight, The Archives offer a way to unravel the game’s lore beyond just the core gameplay. Operating as a library of Tomes, The Archives are structured into chapters packed full of challenges. These range in difficulty and reward players with a variety of treats. Progressing through these challenges also helps players advance in The Rift, which functions much like a battle pass system. Since Behavior Interactive launched the first Tome in October 2019, we’ve journeyed through 21 Tomes prior to this latest one.

Anguish, the latest chapter, launched on January 28, is packed with new stories, rewards, and outfits. This new installment adds another layer of depth, featuring new memories for characters like Jane Romero, who is seen conducting interviews with families affected by The Fog. This narrative thread teases more revelations about The Entity’s far-reaching influence.

With Tome 22, players are treated to new memories for The Blight, diving deeper into the experiments that led to his disturbing transformation. Alongside these riveting tales, new rewards are up for grabs in The Rift. This season’s rewards bring forth a suite of outfits reflecting the Trials’ torments, featuring ultra-rare ensembles for The Huntress and Jane Romero, among others. Players can also look forward to fresh outfits for characters like The Blight, The Plague, The Knight, and more.

Mark your calendars: Tome 22: Anguish is here, launched on January 28, in perfect sync with Dead by Daylight’s Lunar New Year Collection update, which highlights a standout red and gold outfit for The Skull Merchant.

Looking ahead, February promises more exciting updates starting on February 4 with the Artists from The Fog Collection. Here, expect to see community artist DuckieGrumpy’s creative reimagining of characters Sable Ward and The Unknown as Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf. February 18 will then see the Days Gone By Collection expand to include looks for Jake Park, The Twins, and The Deathslinger. Finally, The Iron Maiden Collection rounds off the month on February 25, offering new t-shirt options for Sable Ward and Taurie Cain.
